Hello everybody. Today I was out shooting, and at 10 and 20 yards I was shooting great. But when I moved back to 30 yards my shots were all over the target. I am looking for shooting tips or accessories to help
    Thanks.

Very tough to determine with the information provided. Pins could be off, form could be off, I would make the 20 yard shots and if you are dead on then move back to 30 and adjust your sights - hard to say here.

Elaborate more on what your rig is and someone might be better suited to help you some.

I would start with paper tuning or bare shaft tuning

we are gonna need a little more info brother. you could be torquing the bow a little and only seeing it at 30. how tight are your groups at 20 yards?

Stepping out to 30yd rather than 20 does a few things.

    A. Shows form laws in the form of separator points of impact.

    B. shows tuning issues which could be the issue.

    C. Shows bow fitment (to the shooter) issues.

A: if your form is off, it's not really that noticeable at 20 yd. add that extra 10 and it will show. If your anchors aren't consistent it will also cause major accuracy issues.

B: if your bow isn't tuned properly it can be inconsistent. This can cause issues with arrows flying consistently. Another thing could be incorrect arrow spine.

C: If the bow draw length is to long, it's very hard to be consistent.

Did some paper tuning today, found out my rest was off. Got that all fixed and I am shooting better. I am also planning a trip out to the pro shop and get some help there too. I will probably get a new rest, my whisker biscuit is getting worn out. Thanks everyone.

Sounds like a plan... I vote for a QAD and the boys at the shop should be better able to straighten ya out.

    Good Luck!

Thanks, I was actually trying to decide between a QAD or an Apache. I think I'm gonna go with the QAD

    Do this first.

Then, it could be your 30 yard pin (ie on my sight I can move the pins in/out as well as up/down.).

Normally I start at 10m, sight in, go to 20m, sight in, then 30m, then maybe back to 20 and 10 to see if anything has changed greatly.

Then out to 40/50/60 and back in again.

My groups at 20 are at an average 4 1\2 inches At 30 they were at an average of 13 inches. But today I did some tuning and got most of it figured out. My groups today were about down to 7 at 30yds and about 4 at 20yds. I also realized that I was gripping the bow.

I guess I am just lucky.

I have the QAD and sometimes hunt with an Apache.

... I can't get these to fly worth a flip but I get 2 inch groups with Quick "Spins." I have no idea what the difference is but you may try a pack and see what happens.

Now it's sounding like form issues. My cousin was the same way a couple months ago. He came to the house and we started working on form. Within an hour he was slapping shafts at 20 and holding a 2" 3 arrow group at 30.

Can you have someone take pictures of you at full draw? Take one from the front side, behind you in line with the arrow, and one from each side of the front at an angle (not directly in front of you for safety reasons). If you have to rest between pics that's fine. I'd like to see what your bow fitment and form look like.

There's quite a few issues going on, fortunately the bow appears to fit pretty well.

A coach is the best advice I can give. However, that isn't always possible but Alistair Whittingham has some really good videos on YouTube called performance archery.

Stance, posture, draw, bowhand position as well as anchors are some trouble areas. He covers all of these.

I will say that while working on the form issues, forget the peep. Probably best to just have it removed all together so you aren't trying to look through it. It is not in the right position as of now.

The peep that is on there is the one that came with the package when I bought the bow. Should I get a new one or just don't use one at all.

Peep isn't your problem. It's just not in the right place and you need to fix your form before adjusting the peep.
