Above average daytime movement in the middle of drought and heatwave?

Just like everyone else our temps here near St. Louis are through the roof. I have been surprised to see above average movement on my cams during the day. Mostly between 11am and 2pm bucks and does, mostly bucks. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Thoughts?

 

Moon was full last week. My cameras showed the same.

 

Saw a few does out two weeks ago in the middle of the day. two were going to water, the other was on the edge of a soy field. strange cause it was hot as heck.

 

First 10 days of August is when you will see a lot of activity, enjoy it while it last!

 

Your not the only one. I seen a few deer out in the fields while driving the roads, usually around noon, not sure why as the temps. have been in the 90's with near 100% humidity.
