Hers's an exert from an email from Muddy after I emailed them to find out about those missing clips on THE NEW Muddy Harness that allow you to carry 2 sticks up the tree while hanging. I think I"ve been lead astray as I thought they had said the new harness's would have them. Now I have to purchase them? WTF. Did they rush this harness to market? Anyway, Just a FYI.

I hope to have it on the web within one week. You can buy directly from it. Our dealers will probably not stock that part.

Dude, you order them directly from Muddy - and the costs should be very inexpensive - like $9.99 for 3 of them I believe? Not sure if they are in-stock or not. They came from a different supplier.

After paying Muddy's overpriced shipping costs, and tax itll put the cost at $30.

Not very 'inexpensive' for something that we were all lead to believe came with the harness.

Regardless, Ill be purchasing them and look forward to the added convenience while hanging stands.

I've been on Muddy's site a lot looking into this harness and there is nothing on there that made me think this came with the harness.

WKP Todd has been talking about how the harness will hold two muddy sticks in almost all his posts about the two for the past several months. Ive been on the site a lot also. Theyre not in the 'Accessories' so it would make sense that they came with the harness IMO. Not until i emailed Muddy did i find out they werent even available yet. A little misleading? Yes, but no hard feelings, its not Muddy's fault.

(This quote is in this thread http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?p=85057#post85057)

I personally don't read the above statement as saying the new harness comes with this accessory. Especially when paired with the reading from www.gomuddy.com. IMHO

    GABowhunter, I disagree, enough said.

GMMAT, the carabiners and d-loops that came with the harness are for your linesmans belt and I would suggest using them for that instead of carrying sticks. You could rig your own system for attaching the sticks though, nothing wrong with that.

Not to throw fuel on the fire.... But, I also thought this "clip system" would come standard on the harness.

Please understand guys, I don't work for Muddy. I don't own Muddy. I can't control something I don't own. I just designed the sticks, clips, and changes to the new harness.

I'm doing the best I can to help answer questions and solve problems. That's all I can do. The only thing I can control is White Knuckle Productions, which I own. I can assure you the best service, shipping, and product if it has the WKP logo on it. Beyond that, it's not my problem to worry about!

I don't blame you for what I thought. You never said it was included. Just a misunderstanding on my part.

It really doesn't make sense to include it, since I am sure many people wearing that harness may not be using the sticks as well.

I designed the clips (small post) to slide into the small hole that is extruded in the V-bracket of the climbing sticks. The caribeeners are used for the lineman's - which is a completely seperate function / feature on the waist belt.

Two small plastic clips are designed to be attached to the small 3/4" webbing / buckles behind the loops. This allows you to use the lineman's belt in-conjunction with carrying two sticks up on the clips.

I can appreceiate that and concur you do a great job with WKP. I in no way aim to bash you and hope you don't think of it that way. My intention for this thread was to forwarn others buying this harness that if they as me for whatever reason expected carrying clips to be on the belt that that was not the case. That's all.
