It's been a slow process. But one that has shown me that I can be a patient person. No worries about overdoing it, I've eased my way to this point. I have inspirations that keep me going from patients I've taken care of to one of the greatest elk hunters ever who arrowed a bull only 3 months after having had open heart to a friend who hunts from a wheelchair after a motorcycle accident (not his fault) left him a paraplegic. God has blessed me in many ways, and hopefully, soon enough, I'll be able to hunt again with a bow. For the time being, I'm toting a crossbow, but I'd like to think that before the end of the year, I'll be capable and confident enough to take a bow to the woods again. Thanks for all the positive comments, they are ammo for me in my fight to regain a normal life sooner than later!!!
Well, I picked up a sit-stand style climber today for $70, probably gonna use the top part of this stand with the bottom part of my other stand. It could use a little paint, but I'll have it ready to use in pretty short order. I catch a break and get one of the next few days off, I may be up in it sooner than later.. Still gonna be awhile before I'll be hunting with a bow, but I am officially released from the care of the neurosurgeon. :D
