I’m really liking these vanes so far. Anyone else shooting them? Hoyt Helix Hoyt RX1 Hoyt Carbon Spyder ZT
I haven't tried those. But wanted to comment, that's a nice helical your OMP put on those. I have mainly been using Q2i vanes. Rapt-x, Griff-x for broadheads. 2.1" x-ii's for my 3d arrows. And 3" x-ii's for indoor. I just recently bought some 2.25 TAC vanes to mess around with, have only put them on one arrow so far. Need to get a chance to see how they steer a fixed in a 3 fletch, if that doesn't work I'll try them in a 4 fletch. They are surprisingly light, the 2.25" I got are advertised as 5 grains, but they actually show 4.2 grains on my scale.
I’ve used a lot of fletching jigs. The OMP Phoenix is best I’ve used. It has a ton of adjustability. That a 3 degree helical. I can go up to 5 lol. Thanks Hoyt Helix Hoyt RX1 Hoyt Carbon Spyder ZT
they are fantastic all around vanes for mechanical and fixed heads. I shoot the max stealth version myself. I have used about 10 other vanes the last five years or so and keep coming back to these
I’m also switching to these or the max stealth vanes. But hate the idea of the prep pen on the max. I’m just ready for a change from blazers
