Some one mentioned it here and so I bought some adapters to put AA Lithium batteries into my Moultrie I-45s trail camera in place of the D's.
    Anyone every tried this?

I've never done it but heard of others that got much better battery life going that route.

I've got a couple sets of the AA lithium batteries but most electronics I've tried to use them on don't work with them. Not sure why. Maybe someone on here can chime in on why.
I'm just hopping they work on the these trail cams. Seems like the 4 D battery's only last a month at one picture per min. I guess I should be happy that a have game around to set the camera off I guess.

Don't know about the lithium batteries but I tested my new Covert MP6 with 8 AA batteries and it took over 15,000 pics and 422 15 second videos before the batteries died. I used Duracell. My son got over 20,000 photos on his MP6.

Wow. Is that the camera or the battlers?
Moultrie recommends the lithium batteries in their GPS Connect devise.

I think it's the camera. I'm testing one now with Energizers and getting the same kind of results.

I like the Moultrie because I'm used them and can check and program them fast but maybe I should look at these coverts everyone loves. Which model is comparable to the Moultrie I-45s?
