Hi folks. My first year bow hunting. I got an A22 tag..

No one in my family hunted, a friend said he would get in to it with me but he bailed..so I started solo. Every guy that I was told that they hunted and I spoke to would not share any kwnowledege but they were quick to say how hard it is...well that is just the motivation I needed, so I got me a used Bowtech Carbon night, I practiced a bunch, I got me a decent pair of boots, a pack, nice 10x12 binos, onX, cheap cammo, a knife and I went. I've been out a handful of times already and found a couple of nice Does I spooked. I found some really nice terrain last week that looks great but who knows.
I'm getting my ass kicked by Long hikes, long drives, getting lost, getting used to new gear and all the jazz that comes with learning big game hunting and I'm loving it.
I become and avid spearfisherman and learn how to bird hunt by myself, because when no one wants to help..you just go and do it.

I'm hoping however I can connect with someone local to enjoy the bow hunting experience. There is something to the safety thing that makes me think about hunting with a partner.
I'm looking forward to contribute to the site how ever best I can.

    Cheers.
