Season opens a week from today here in IL, but it's looking like the best shot at the first cold air of the season will be closer to Sunday.

Should mean a big front moving through Saturday afternoon/evening.

Sunday will likely be my first sit of the season, especially so if this does pan out.

A few models are in support of this.

Heck, if that is the case I may find my way to the stand. Looks like it might cool off here a little.

I only see myself getting 2 or 3 sits in before Halloween. Haloween weekend on is going to be my job.

I'll be out opening day for a PM hunt. Chances are I won't be out again until the weekend of the 10th/11th.
