I know I'm in the minority of being a golf fan here. But, the single greatest sporting event (IMO  ) is this week. The Masters is like the Superbowl, Daytona, World Series etc... I won't be missing a minute of it. I'll also go out on a limb and predict Tiger Woods to win

I agree 100% with what you say about tampering with the course. They should've left it just the way it has been for years. Part of the greatness of the event was hearing the roars from all over the course (especially back 9 on sunday). Watching people making birdies and making their way up the leaderboard. And the course was penalizing enough with the greens where a bogey or double was a distinct possiblity on any hole. I miss the old days where there could be a 3 stroke swing in a matter of minutes. They've turned it into more of an Open course. I dont' want to see par win at Agusta. But like you say... I'll be watching :)

I'm sure it will be as great as ever...like you guys have said though, they should've left the course alone regardless of what the scores were. Hey it's their course and their tournament, at least they did not let the TV networks and their money intimidate them. I too will be watching as much as I can...but I don't think Tiger will win.
