Alot of you that came from HNI as I did, remember Tuco. Me and Tuco worked together for many years until he transfered to another plant  You probably remember he is the one who started the MYTH about my fat fingers that aint true  He is also is the inventor of >>>BAM<<< and trained me in the art of being a Bully when needed :tu: Well Tuco killed a solid 8 back in October and sent me a text and a short explanation about it. I didnt fully understand what he was talking about until I spoke with him on the phone today and ask him what he meant. Before I tell the story I must leave you with some entertainment first, because some of the things I have read in the last two weeks leads me to believe that there is some tension on here  Tuco starred in many of the Jack links comercials as sasquach see link attached

He also played a roll in stars as chewbacca, see attached link

So with that I tell his story.
Johns Grandpa passed 4 years ago on Oct 17, John showed up at the hospital on Oct 1st that year to pay a visit, and Gramps said what the heck are you doing here, you should be hunting. Johns Gramps was a BIG fan of Big solid 8 pointers and John knew that. John always said if he ever got the chance at a good 8 on Oct 17 that he would shoot it in honor of his Gramps. Well 4 years later stands a 140's 9 point and a nice solid 8 in front of John. In honor of Gramps John chose the nice 8, and that just make me very proud to have that kind of guy as a friend. We still beat each other up every chance we get and I wouldnt have it any other way ;) I had to threatin him within an inch of his life to send me the pics, He got scared and did :tu: I also take his wife out Dancing when ever I want, and theres nothing he can do about it :D So here is the legend Tuco and His nice 8 he arrowed on Oct 17th, PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE VERY HAIRY HANDS >>>BAM<<<

Great story Dan. Congrats to Tuco (John) on a great buck and kudos for honoring his gramps. That's a buck that will always have a place in his heart.

Thanks for all the kind words, it was a special moment. I watched the 2 buck for a good 30 minutes and even though the bigger deer was right there the decision had been made right away. Equipment used was a Bowtech Guardian 70#, Ted Nugent Gold Tip Arrows, Slick Trick 85 grain, shot at 12 yards at a quartering away shot, entrance was at rear of rib cage and exit was the chest in front of the shoulder, deer went 40 yards and piled up, in other words everything went perfect like it was meant to be. I was very calm before, during and after, I truly believe I had someone watching over me.
