Definitely. Just scouted some some property I am allowed to hunt this Fall with my 'ol man last Saturday bordering county conservation land on one side and a tree nursery on the other. The main food source for crops appears to be the property we now have access. Unfortunately, the landowner had some issues in the past with some bow hunters so he only wants us gun hunting. We are working on trying to have him reconsider his current position on bow hunting so I can hunt that property for that season also (Dad only gun hunts these days).

Every night and often throughout the day I am game-planning possible stand sites to intercept the local deer on their way to the food source. In my little free time I have visited and studied Google Earth, spoken with a friend of mine who leases a farm field near this property and spoken with some land owners near this new property. I have been playing out in my mind the travel corridors that the deer are going to take. I hope and pray that is where my Dad is awaiting with his trusty 'ol 870 on opening day 'cause my buck tags will already be filled from previous hunts.

I've got a buck I can't stop thinking about. I'm constantly game planning for him both in my head and on paper.

Antler Addict and Rizzo, nice to meet you guys.

Shed, any pics of this buck? Where is hanging out these days? Hillside, timber, some little tree out in the middle of a pasture, your back yard....?
