I'm looking for some help on what type and kind , if it even is out there, a scope for my compound bow.
Seeing well at 35 to 45 yards is something that passed me by a few years ago. If I can see it I can hit it, so my question is what do I use to help me see the 40 yard deer? I've seen target style scope type sites and red dot, but the red dot got bad reviews. Is there something out there like a hand gun scope with 2 or 4 X's magnification?
    Thanks
    Randy

I'm not sure about a scope but you can get lens' that go on your normal bow site to help zoom things in a little.

A.) Make sure it's legal where you hunt.
B.) Remember that glass comes with limitations as well as advantages. Glare, fog, light gathering ability and rain are all going to be in the negative column and for most those heavily outweigh the positive column of finer target resolution.

You may just need to limit your shots to closer in. Honestly I've never shot a deer at more than 20 yards even though I have the ability to do it at 60.
