Please keep your hot, humid, weather to yourself. We don't want it here up north. ;) :poke:

It's 85, and humid here in Wisconsin today. Yuck!

Back to 65 for a high tomorrow. That will be more like it.

I'll tell you what. Most deer have lost their summer coats here already.

Which means..... 85 deg heat + winter coats on deer = no deer movement.

I'll just sit here play with my boys, have a beer and try and stay cool. My wife asked me to turn on the A/C I said no way are we turning it on September the 23rd when it is going to cool off tomorrow. Usually the furnace is running by now not the A/C. :violin:

This is a nasty system Tony. I'm talking 100% nasty humidity and then 30 mph winds behind it. Not exactly good for hunting if you know what I mean.

I suppose the "good" news is that our season isn't open yet :throw:

I really need to get in a tree, Brad ...

How long do you have yet till it opens?

The good news is this system does move pretty fast. It is in and out in 36-48 hours.

Brad I was kind of hoping to send this weather a little further south. I'm tired of it.

    I've been out ONE time.

It's awful. I'm just not gonna do it in this heat. 67deg. for a LOW, tonight.

    Jeff,

At one time when you were desperate for a deer...... would you of battled it?

I'm unbelievability desperate for a deer and I'm still not battling it. I believe your likely do more harm than good.

I'm past the point of worrying about harm and good. It's just not fun in this heat. And, I do this because it's fun.

There were years I wouldn't miss a chance to hunt. I'm past that, too. I'll hunt when I think it'll be fun. And, I'll stay out - when I think it won't be.

I've killed enough deer, now, that I don't hunt with that as my SOLE goal. In other words, the end doesn't justify the means. I don't NEED to kill a deer. That's me. I can't/won't speak for anyone else (as to why they hunt).

Welcome to my world the last five or six years... at least. It's hit 93 every day this week... I just glanced down at my little Weatherbug indicator in the bottom task bar and it reads 80 degrees right NOW ... at 9:36 p.m. :(

It's just about got to where you can count on it around here... bow season approaches = 90-degree weather. They're synonymous. :(
