The package hostage rest that came with my Bowtech Tomkat is the noisiest part of my bow. The little brushes make a zipping noise as they drag along the arrow as I draw.

Can anyone recommend a quiet arrow rest? I'm not sure if I'm ready for a drop-away, but I'll switch if that will eliminate the sound of my draw.

I am using the whisker biscuit from fuse. I have no problem with nosie and this way if you not comfortable with using a fall away, you can use this and your arrow will not go anywhere, except where you want it to.

It may be your arrows and not the rest. I've seen / heard certain shaft coatings that are just plain noisy, the Maximas come to mind right off. I've noticed my Axis and A/C/C shafts are a lot quieter than the CX's of my friends. You can try rubbing and buffing some string wax on them to quiet them.

No noise noticed on my Hostage pro yet with GT arrows. I just seen in a catalog that Easton makes a carbon that is supposed to make less draw noise, slicker. Not sure about the limb drivers but I've used 3 or 4 different fallaway rests and always noticed a distinctive thump when the rest hits bottom upon firing.
