Has anyone here ever had trouble aiming your cams and not being able to set them off trying to trigger them while setting them up In very warm temps? Temps here In Minnesota have been right around 100 degree's with extreme dew points In the mid 70's. Never have I had this Issue before where I couldn't trigger the cam but yesterday I did when I hung some cams on my restocked monsteraxx sites yesterday. I'm thinking It was the heat but I'm not sure. I'm baffled I know that much. I've never hung cams In temps this hot and I believe these cams also go by body heat and not just motion when triggering. The cams would catch me when I was with In 10 feet but any farther then that It was very few and far between. At 1st I thought It was my Bushnell cam not working properly but when I put my next cam out that one too (HC600 Reconyx) did the same exact thing. In a week to 10 days I'll find out If their working. I hate It when **** like this happens!!!

If it eventually triggered by getting closer, it probably is the heat. They are heat triggered to a point. Also you mentioned that it was a Bushnell. My Bushnell has a sensor level control and in this kind of weather you probably need to set it on high. Hope you get it worked out.

Steve I just went through the same crap and got all non animal pics with the exception of one. It was a buck and I got the top of his head so I hope I just put the cam to high. I will be checking it this coming sunday to find out. Yes for the record btw I had that issue when I put the cam up.
