Today i was shooting and one of the three arrows that i was shooting wouldn't shoot straight. The instant that i released it, the arrow would appear to fly in a circle. i shot it like twenty times trying to figure out if i was doing something wrong, but it did the same thing ever time while the other arrows were dead on every time. I checked the fletchings of the arrow and they aren't ripped or unglued. So my question, do any of you know why that arrow was flying like that?
Are all your nocks indexed the same? Sounds like you might be getting some contact. What rest are you using?
I am shooting a NAP apache drop away. And all the indexes are the same with the same fletching. The arrows seem the complete same to the naked eye.
I have noticed the same issue with my new arrows this season. I shoot a ripcord s.o.s. and powder tested my arrows and perfect results. I have recorded my shots and my form is the same everytime. I havent noticed any fletching issues either. How do you test the spin? My spine is 400. (#60, 28 DL and 27 arrow length).
