    Ive seen this before, and think its awesome.

    Its pretty spot on for what ive seen with deer in my area. Once a buck hits 4, his score usually stays about the same. Also...4 year old bucks in my area seem to always have the most "points". I know of 3 bucks that followed this rule.

    That's pretty cool. From 4.5 to 10.5, those 7 ages he averaged 163". That's impressive.

    So from 4.5 to 10.5 hew was a beast with the rack measuring very consistently and even at 11.5 his rack wask impressive at 143" but personal question here: which year would you have wanted to harvest the deer?

    Toss up for me between 6.5 & 7.5 but I'm going with 7.5, great deer & article.

    I don't live to far from Charlie and have talked with him several times at local events (I even called him on his phone once). Your assessment of him is 'dead-on'! I read every article I can find that he authors.
