Looked at the pics and couldn't for the life of me figured out what it was. My best guess was a coon fight as it appeared to be 2 animals balled up in a battle. Luckily I had 2 cameras there 1 for pics and 1 for video check these out ...
That's awesome! I've only seen two badgers in my area before. Can't quite figure what it has in its mouth though... Looks to be a deer in the background of the pictures too!
This is the first one I have on camera. I had seen a few years ago. I believe he has a possum but could be wrong.
I was thinking possum from the head of it at the end of the video but that was just my guess. I've never caught one on camera but I had one think it was a bright idea to come out of his den and challenge the haybine while I was cutting hay. And another came at me while I was goose hunting this last fall too.
That badgers got himself a groundhog.... check out the little black tail in slow mo and you can see the groundhogs head perfectly floppin!!! Very cool
Very cool! I had a badger come under my stand last year. I didn't know that they moved around at night or that they ate larger animals. I thought that they mostly ate mice and gophers. Maybe they're opportunists! What ever, I wouldn't want to tangle with one, they're pretty bad ***.
Cool stuff! That badger probably beat the crap outta the opossum anyways, badgers are pretty territorial.
Video is from a 2010 HR 8.0 Pics are from the Black 60 but brightness Is deceiving as the IR is lit from both cams at the same time
