    Thus why all the TV hunters build massive food plots to keep and hold the deers core areas on their properties...

    Sadly, in the midst of my fourth season hunting "smart" on my parents property (actually scouting, keeping journals, running cams, etc), I've come to the realization that this is not a piece of ground that is near a core area for mature bucks in general. It does well during the seeking phase since we hold does all over the place, but as far as patterning a particular buck, it's difficult.
