The big ten went down this morning, I had a feeling he was living across the street. 4 shots later and run down by an F-250, I love MI:(

Uncle Trigger shot 4 times this morning, hit a little 3 point twice in the neck. I have picture on my phone, I'll post in a bit. My other uncle shot a dandy of an 1.5 8. Deer I seen pretty much everyday I hunted, I knew he was going to die. He has 6-7'' G2 and G3's.

I know 4 bucks went down this morning!!! More than I thought with all the corn still in.

    Only you, LOL

Uncle trigger and I had a good laugh, I picked his buck up and through it in back of my truck. It's my job on gun season, I am the deer retriever:D:D

Takes me back to my childhood in Michigan deer camp. The smell 0f coffee, eggs, bacon, fried taters all mixed with the scent of a fresh spent 30-06 case. The time spent with family and friends
I would be telling you a lie if I said I did not miss it some.

Yes, I was a spent case huffer at one time.

Hang in there buddy, I will see you in Kentucky next season.

That would be great Blood, RuttNutt and I will be in Kentucky the first week of Nov next season. I seen on here where Josh said he was taking vacation from the 1st to the 13 and Gary said something about hunting the Rut in Ky. Hopefully we can all get together.

the story i got from the guy hunting across the street who claims he saw the ordeal play out. the buck was shot around 7:30. at 9:00 he saw the buck running across the field all hunched up with a red ford in pursuit. he claims they finished it off from the truck. i have know idea if this story is true or not. i drove by the house and seen the buck and a red 250.

i will be sure to tell my dad what an idiot he was this morning for passing the buck uncle trigger shot.

Doing something stupid doesn't make you an idiot.

For every guy passing small bucks in the north east there are 500 more that will kill that deer on first sight.

It's like trying to save the Titanic with a dixie cup.

    Reality.

What did your dad gain by passing that buck???

I knew Uncle Trigger would get it done.

4 shots. Just out of curiosity, how many shells does his rifle hold ? Please tell me more than 4.

Holds 5 and when I ask where the first 2 shots went he replied "In the dirt".

BTW we have a blast hunting together, he takes his ribbings well. He got it from his brother and my Dad today:p

What did he gain? He still has a tag and can go hunting.
