Great job Matt! I shot a doe this past weekend with similar results. Hit her back in the guts and left her over night. Found her in the morning not 100 yards from impact. It was a relief similar to yours I'm sure! Again congrats.

Ugggh, well I WAS making a post in Rob fashion thanking all of you personally, but my computer just froze, and I lost it all:( Sorry for not getting back earlier, but I don't have access to this site at work (blocked because of weapons:(), and I can only access it via my phone.

So, thanks everyone! I'm still so pumped about all of this. I'm going to measure the rack tomorrow. Any guesses as to what he'll score? I'm also curious as to whether he was a 2.5 or 3.5yr old.

My dad made it a point to tell me this was NOT the same buck they saw that Sunday. Neither was the 8 point that came out with this one, so that's two other GOOD bucks on or near the property still. That's nice to know.

Honestly, though, it was ALL luck. I'm really anxious to scout the area more during the post season to figure out what these bucks were doing, and where they called home.

So between now and tomorrow afternoon, let's play "what will he score?"

Well, after eye-balling him up... the best that I can give him is 117-4/8" If he had another G-4 he would definetly break the 120" mark.

Congrats again buddy... I couldn't have been more pumped for you, I was really pulling for you this year. Have you figured out what style mount to get? He would be beautiful as a full mount or a semi-sneek wall pedistal.

Rob and Ben... what can I say... you guys are awsome for dropping everything to help a guy out... true class at it's finest!!

Thanks, bud. Funny you ask about the mount. I was just thinking about that this afternoon. I would love a full mount, but not sure I want to drop the $$ on it. However, I did think about doing a pedestal with maybe some foliage or woods material attached to the base.

Bloodcrick, thanks bud! I'm certainly VERY grateful for Rob and Ben's help. Those guys really stepped up big time.

Rob, I would have no idea, but I would be super happy with 110 let alone 120.

    Ben, I got your PM:)

Matt... if you check out McKenzie taxidermy, they are now selling add-on habitat for shoulder mounts like wood, rocks, limbs, ect. They simply screw onto the back... looks pretty cool and they aren't too expensive either..

P.S. Almost forgot to tell you... great pics man!!!
