Well a couple of weeks ago my 5 year old son and I boiled our first buck head together. Ahhh, what a bonding moment. hahahaha. Then a few days ago both my son and daughter helped me cut and stain some wood to mount some buck antlers that I have kept since I started bowhunting. I am almost done with this one. All I want to do is add a small picture of me with the buck on the bottom right hand side of the wood. Or do you think I should leave it as is and put the picture on the back of the wood just for posterity? I bought a wood burning pen today and used it for the first time...it was fun.

Very very cool. Thanks for sharing.

If it were me, I'd put the picture on the front, and the stats and details of the hunt on the back.

    Pretty sweet!

That is exactly what I planned on doing with all of the antler mounts. I have 6 other antler mounts beside this one that I made up, but only half of the bucks I have pics with that I can attach.

Thanks. I boiled it for awhile and got about 80% of the junk off. My buddy was also doing a euor-mount and just finished mine up by boiling the rest of the stuff off and using peroxide. He did three euro-mounts in one night. He had a much bigger pot than I did and had the time to get it done.
