Hey guys! I am hoping someone might see this tonight. I have been asked to preach to my youth group tomorrow night so i am looking for a little help on a couple of quick 10 - 15 minute topics. I would like to try to find a way to relate it to archery/hunting and their daily lives. I am reaching out to all of you because I figure someone on here might have something that i can use as a base/foundation. I appreciate any help. Thanks, Dana
U could use a harness as a discussion. About how it catches u when u slip and fall in life. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Verses mentioning bow: http://www.publiclandbowhunters.com/t161-bible-references-for-archery David and his sling a similar (relatively) simple weapon requiring close proximaty to his target (Golliath)...related to facing your challenges in life perhaps... -Bill
How practice and dedication are important in archery, daily life, and faith Archery: if we don't put in the necessary time and effort, our chances to fail when it's most important drastically increase. Daily life: if we don't put the necessary hard work and effort into being a good person, loving family member, close friend when it is most important our skills may fail us Faith: if we don't put the necessary effort and dedication into our faith and trust in The Lord, when the time comes that our faith is tested we may flinch, and flinching in faith is a lot like flinching in archery, where you're aiming isn't where you'll end up. Eh... I'm no preacher, I hope it helps a little
What he said... Just like hunting you have to earn it. Hard work pays off. Faith doesn't just fall in your lap, sometimes it is hard.
