Wow Matt those are some big bass. I had some luck on the stream today. Nothing huge but for it not being too big of a waterway these are some really good fish for it. Still waiting to catch one of the big smallies I keep seeing.
Rory, what stream are you fishing? Here is my biggest river Smallie of the year caught on a buzzbait.
Blues are nice but my favorites are Flatheads! Here is my buddy with one of the big fellas that he caught!
It's south of DeSoto. I still haven't even told my closest friends the name or where it is lol. It's been a few years since I've caught one like yours, I can't wait to get on a couple of float trips this summer.
knee boots and shorts and waders without a shirt ! Epic post ! I at the bass for bait Matt ! They are fertilizer here !
Been literally 3 years since I have fished. Decided to drag out my vice and tie up some wooly buggers for springtime bass. Felt good to have my fly rod in hand again
Been a great spring for fishing, here. Mad Bass Lures have been catching them as of late. Also buzzbaits and 10" worms.
I'll play too. All from this year. Still waiting on one of the big smallmouth. My brother From my kayak. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?rvbo3l
Well since everyone else is posting pictures. Vito, send your fish down here, we need bait too. 50 lb Hoo. For reference I'm 6'3" and around 225 in that pic Bass Catfishin last Sat.
Couple of blues from last night biggest weighed 12.5 lbs 71 lb flathead we got on trout line a few weeks ago And my buddy caught the Oklahoma state largemouth record this year weighed 14 lbs 12.5 oz
Nice!!! We catch those too along with the blues. I use Live 6-9" shad at night. The flatties do fight a bit more but IMO don't taste quite as good as the blues. I caught a 34 pound flatty last year on a 1/2 ounce Little George. What a surprise that was!
Id give my left nut to be able to catch a big muskie Vito...how about next year me and Sac come up for a trip? Ill trade you a turkey or deer archery hunt down here...
How much time you got? It can take a long time to catch one, even on gear. They are the fish of 10,000 casts for a reason. I know you are trading a guaranteed thing like a mature whitetail hunt in Ohio. I'm sure I can clear a couple hours to pull that off, but keep in mind the muskie mission will take much, much longer. I consider Hook inviting himself a bonus. I'll start DVRing Swamp People so I can understand what he's saying.
