Wow Matt those are some big bass. I had some luck on the stream today. Nothing huge but for it not being too big of a waterway these are some really good fish for it. Still waiting to catch one of the big smallies I keep seeing.

Rory, what stream are you fishing?

Here is my biggest river Smallie of the year caught on a buzzbait.

Blues are nice but my favorites are Flatheads! Here is my buddy with one of the big fellas that he caught!

It's south of DeSoto. I still haven't even told my closest friends the name or where it is lol. It's been a few years since I've caught one like yours, I can't wait to get on a couple of float trips this summer.

Been literally 3 years since I have fished. Decided to drag out my vice and tie up some wooly buggers for springtime bass. Felt good to have my fly rod in hand again

Been a great spring for fishing, here. Mad Bass Lures have been catching them as of late. Also buzzbaits and 10" worms.

Nice!!! We catch those too along with the blues. I use Live 6-9" shad at night. The flatties do fight a bit more but IMO don't taste quite as good as the blues. I caught a 34 pound flatty last year on a 1/2 ounce Little George. What a surprise that was!

How much time you got? It can take a long time to catch one, even on gear. They are the fish of 10,000 casts for a reason. I know you are trading a guaranteed thing like a mature whitetail hunt in Ohio. I'm sure I can clear a couple hours to pull that off, but keep in mind the muskie mission will take much, much longer.

I consider Hook inviting himself a bonus. I'll start DVRing Swamp People so I can understand what he's saying.
