Have you decided how many days you plan to stay/hunt? If you are taking I-70 there are a few decent sized wildlife areas and state parks over by Zanesville and Cambridge.
Hmmm... This might work too. The camp I stay in Illinois in Hancock county, which is on the NE corner. Looked up the regs and tags are $225 for NR., and also looks like the season takes a break for a few days starting November 13th. Which would only give me a few days, which is ok. Has anyone hunted the NE corner of Missouri? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Indiana out of state tags are only $150 and are sold OTC. If you decide to come to Indiana I could give several ideas on decent public land. Blessings.........Pastorjim
Maybe around Edina/ novelty Missouri. They have some big public land up there and it's far north Missouri. It's pretty close to Iowa... The dury's have a farm about 5 miles from where I've hunted there, but I don't think it's THE farm
Hmmm where did you send the message? I truly appreciate you reaching out to help! Things have changed quite abit, now that my wife is hitting the woods with me this season for the first time! I think we are going to spend the 2nd week of my vaca hunting our RI prop, for her first season. Next year I'm thinking she will want to head out to the Midwest with me somewhere so let me know of some more ideas!!!
I believe your 1st NR tag is half price also then every year after its full price. Otherwise come to MN there tags are cheap and I'm on vacation about the same time. The down fall is the gun season opens the first weekend in November. We have taken some real nice deer on our farm in the last few years 136in to 186in
