    Yea it definitely is, I'd like to build another one in .308. But man the parts are cashy ha, and last I looked really into it the parts were hard to come by.

    Building is definitely better. Plus, hunting around for that little spring or detent pin that shot across the room is quality time when done with your spouse. ;)

    I'm thinking about a MEGA MATEN in .308. I know Rick James has built some and from what he said and some research I did they are not always the easiest to break in and rely on.

    Ha ha I had to do that three times putting my lower together. I put a noveske qd end plate on and it was a pain. Still good time though

    Well entered the world of AR15s....

    Working for a range/gun shop part time allowed me to build their website and in return get the parts to build this bad boy...only way I would have entered the AR15 world most likely. Break down of parts:

    -Rock River lower 5.56 Receiver

    -Furniture Kit Brown
    -Mil-Spec Buffer Tube

    Trigger was spensive :D but man is it a sweet one...freaking fell in love when test fired it! Reset is sexy and pull is so crisp and clean...I see why all the fuss over them now.
