You dont have to wait for me ..... I still believe it is MUCH easier and safer for the man ... and that a man that won't do it, is not much of a man at all Glad everything worked out for you and "Daddy", DLG
Thanks for the good wishes guys. The trauma was mostly emotional, not physical. It's Sunday now and I'm feeling pretty normal, almost like nothing happened. The little incision, which is very small, appears to be healing very nicely. PT, your serious condemnations of folks who disagree with your personal opinions, are sort of amusing. Don't stop. Remember, this wasn't a birth control measure folks. I have a medical condition and I'm very small, both factors making it possible that I and a developing baby could be harmed. My obstetrician has been telling me I've been lucky with my first two and not to push my luck. Second, my husband is older than I. If he had a vasectomy it would be a temporary solution. If I am still of childbearing age, likely, when he leaves me a widow, I have no intention of marrying again. I don't think it's likely that another man like him could be found. But the future is the future and if I did marry again, I would be faced with this situation again. And third, I stamped my little foot down very hard and insisted that he NOT have a vasectomy. I have my reasons and they're my reasons. Thanks again guys. I'll caution once again, that if you know of a girl who is thinking of having this done, she should make sure that her obstetrician is knowledgeable and highly skilled in the latest procedures.
DLG ... whatever you and your hubby decide is your business ... it sounds to me like your husband was willing to do it .... so there was NOTHING directed at you .. just men that wont do it and make their wives do it ... so I am not sure what you are talking about???? BTW ... talk about calling the the kettle black ... you have MASTERED that
