I've noticed my Iceman is getting slightly louder...I examined the strings and there is visible wear and seperation of the servings in several areas around the cam....

I'm going to take it in and get new strings put on it....I just want good strings in Garnet and Black.

Being a University of South Carolina Graduate and becoming accustomed to kicking every bodies a$$ in Baseball and the reality that our Football team is loaded like a mutha this year....I think the Garnet and Black will be nice....

But my question is....what would cause the bow to get louder ? Not any more recoil or vibration...at least that I noticed...just a louder string snap....

That isn't uncommon for separation at points around the cam. You typically don't have to replace your string however. Start at the lowest point of separation and move the serving down one strand at a time. Eventually you'll close the gaps. The serving on my cable moved quite a bit.
I'm not sure what to tell you on the noise. Are you sure it's louder? Or are you just used to it more?

Please check your limbs and all of your cam screws. Also, look into your STS. Is it worn and not making the same contact?

Then go to vaportrailarchery.com and get some great strings.

Loosening mod screws are usually the culprit.
