Nice buck. Congrats! Coyotes have been a problem here since the price went down so much a few years ago. I hunt them after deer season just for fun.

what type of broadheads were you shooting, i wonder why there was no blood trail was it an issue with your broadheads?
No the broadheads weren't the issue. I shoot Razor Tricks and they leave a great bloodtrail, a blind man could have followed it once we found where he entered the slough. It's just the time of year and the thinness of the CRP apparently, 3 years ago I shot one out of the same tree early enough that we could see the blood gushing from both sides of him as he ran away. Still we didn't find blood in the the CRP field until he got into a slough.
Congrats on the buck, that's a damn shame them yotes got into him. Ahh, shoot a nice big doe for some tasty table fare.
