So I still haven't planted yet here in Oklahoma with all the rain etc. I just worked up about 1 acre to be planted on at the food plot its early august an its hot as hell out so what to plant an when to plant to assure a good food source. The ground is not too wet anymore as we haven't had a good rain in a couple weeks or more. I was thinking of putting purple hull peas in there and some sweet potatoes. It seems to work great at this particular location plus I can pick some for myself when there ready. Any thoughts on some other good things to plant this time of year?
