I am in the market to buy some new arrows. I have read a lot about the Carbon Express Maxima Blue Streak. A little on the high dollar end, but I want a good straight arrow. I did read where these particular arrows have had some durability issues. With all of the choices out there, I just want to make a good choice. I know a lot of you will say that it's personal preference. I do not know anything about Easton or Gold Tip. I have used Beman and Carbon Express. I don't have a lot of money to play with, but like I mentioned, I want a good quality arrow that won't break the bank. Thanks everyone.

I'm shooting the 340's and like them. I had plans on getting some more expensive ones for deer hunting, but these shoot well enough so that I'm not going to bother. They're about $90 a dozen fletched, cut, and tipped with field points, where I get them.

My local shop has these arrows. Was thinking of giving them a try. Don't know much about them. Thanks for the info. I will probably get into some new arrows the end of the month, maybe early next month. Will keep everyone posted. Again, thanks.

Throwing my hat in the ring for the Gold Tip's. I have bought four dozen this year for family, friends, and my own use.

I'm really pleased with my Beman ICS Bowhunters 340s. Great arrows. Got a dozen fletched with blazers, cut, tipped with field points for $95 after tax at my local shop. Great arrows for the $ IMO.

For the money Goldtip is the best out there based on durability vs. cost. For me, I have seen too many issues with the Beman ICS line (very weak) to warrant any money on them.

I shoot the maxima blue streaks, they are the best arrow I have shot ever. You would need the 250s.

Been shooting Carbon Express Maxima arrows for a while now and if price ISNT a factor, they're the best you can buy, IMO... Only problem I currently have is I have a 31 inch draw at 70lbs and Im shooting a MR6. This has forced from a 350 to a 450 arrow and the only 450 arrow CE offers in a Maxima is camo. Not being a big fan of camo arrows Im a little stuck right now. Any suggestions would be helpful. I know a few of you have posted some suggestions above but Im not looking for a bargain buy on arrows currently, just the best available NOT in camo comparable to a CE Maxima...

Imo, Easton sets the standard that everyone else strives for.

The Easton axis is a very hard arrow to beat.

I shoot carbon express always have and have never had a problem but they are a little pricey and a few of my friends have been shooting bloodsport ht1s from muddy outdoors and they love them, they are very accurate and hard hitting and you can have them fletched and cut tyd for under $115.

I have used the blue streaks for years and have beat the living **** out of them, never once an issue with durability. I'm not sure what those other people messed up but unelss one is robin hooded or I tries to go through concrete, there are no concerns.
They are on the pricey end though.

If you want just a really good hunting arrow go with the carbon express maxima. Even the normal maxima is a fantastic arrows that has claimed more deer than can be counted. It's a tested and true arrow.
My brother uses easton bloodlines and those have treated him well also.
