I was getting kind of bored studying, so I decided to shoot. Being that it was dark, I would be shooting from my garage, at a deer target, backed by a small barn. I used the spot light on the side of my house and my vehicles head lights to illuminate the area. The barn makes for a very safe backstop and there is nothing beyond but trees in a field that an arrow could hit, should I even miss the barn ! So, if you have a safe place to do this... Throw some reflective trail tacks on your target, they'll reflect the light, and see how many you can smack. It's fun to watch them stop reflecting !! I was able to smash a bunch at 20 and 30yards... A lot of fun. Just thought I'd share.
Sounds like a good time, the cabin fever got to me bad today and i found myself trying to break twine hanging in front of my target in the basement at 7 yards. Its pretty challenging with a dull field point but i got it on about the 10th try. Man spring really needs to get here in a hurry!
