Just a thought that popped into my head as this is my first year using a trail cam(which is very outdated).
Do ya'll think that a cam with an actual flash as opposed to the IR cams affects the wildlife negatively or do they possibly relate the flash to something natural like lightning?
I am planning on buying a new Moultrie d55ir soon anyways, i was just kind of curious. Any thoughts??

In my opinion, if you have it over a salt lick or food source they get used to it. I've had bucks hang around my salt lick for hours while my flash cam. If you put it on a trail or something like that, I think they do spook a bit, but I also have noticed deer spooking on my IR cams also. Honestly, I don't think it's that big of a deal, and kinda wish I still had a couple of my old flash cameras still.
