I haven't touched a traditional bow since November... I just needed to get away from it for a little while. Maybe I worry about being a good shot too much, who knows, but I found it stressful and needed a break.

But after seeing the buzz on this forum, that bug is starting to bite me again. I found myself browsing the usual haunts for classifieds..

It sure seems like an excited group over here. Thanks!

Im kind of the same way. I have not shot a bow since the end of Dec.. Well, ive shot in the bows ive made, but isnt really shooting for practice, but shooting to get a new bow broke in. Last night I was getting the very same bug you are.

Well Burnie flamed the fire by selling me one of his beauties. I'm ready to stretch a string.

I think I will use some of the ramen dowels I've had laying around for years to make some "homemade" arrows.

Now I have to wait til next week, ughh!

Oh it will Burnie. I'm just wanting to plink around and this bow will be perfect for that.

What spine are you guessing it will take at my 27 inch draw? Keep in mind I will probably cut my arrows to 30 inches to help with gapping.

I may go ahead and make up a few arrows for it.

For wooden shafts, Id guess about 45-50. I have not used wood in a long time, but according the the cedar chart i have, that is the number suggested. Carbon, something in that range, too many different systems with carbon to give a number. Aluminum, id guess about a 2013 or 1916. Ive gotten away from aluminum, so some other here might be able to help more. At your draw, we would be looking at about 48lbs give or take.
