    As for myself.....

    1. What are you holding out for? I've been holding out for the buck the whole forum knows about. :D Usually though It's 130" for my minimum.

    2. How much time do you have left? 20 days

    3. What do you think your chances are of still scoring on the buck you want? I figure my chances on getting the buck I wounded earlier this year are In that 20% range. On getting on a different buck that's 130" and up, not good at all. Maybe somewhere In that 5% chance.

    4. Will you give In and take something smaller? Never have I gave In and shot a smaller buck. This has been on my mind allot lately though. Not sure why either. Time will tell but I have a feeling If a 120 Inch or so 3.5 gives me a shot 2 weeks from now It might get Interesting. Other then that I live and hunt In a one tag area so the last week or so of hunting I'll be hunting doe's no matter what If I'm still without.

    5. If you answered yes to #4 how long before the season ends will you give In then? Week or so.

    1. What are you holding out for? 1 of about 3 bucks that we have on camera or pre season scouting, the smallest of which is about 140

    2. How much time do you have left? Jan 31st

    3. What do you think your chances are of still scoring on the buck you want? 2 to 5%, we have nothing they need on our property now, just a narrow 70 acre strip they travel through...extremely thick.

    4. Will you give In and take something smaller? Yeah, does...as far as a buck, no.

    1. In Illinois, 1 of 6 or 7 3.5+ year olds we got on trail cams. Scores from 110-165"+

    2. Leaving Tuesday for X number of days. Most likely no more than 6.

    3. I'm pretty optimistic. 25%

    4. No.

This is for IL only, as I have a feeling I'll be lucky to get more than 2 sits in here in WI for the remainder of the season. Jill is due in January, so starting Christmas, I'll be sticking close to home.

    3. What do you think your chances are of still scoring on the buck you want? Pretty good.

    4. Will you give In and take something smaller? No.

    5. If you answered yes to #4 how long before the season ends will you give In then?

    1. What are you holding out for? Honestly, I've never taken a Dec buck. Ever. Hell this is only the 2nd in 12 years I wasn't tagged out in archery season but when hunting a giant one has to be prepared to eat the tag and I'm prepared to do that. I had a fantastic season and passing up 2 3.5's and several 2.5's isn't anything to sneeze at. Would I pass those same deer tomorrow. I can't answer that until they stand there and I feel it.

    2. How much time do you have left? Tomorrow is the last day of rifle season. The day after Christmas a 3 week late season comes in.

    3. What do you think your chances are of still scoring on the buck you want?
The one I want, very low. Any buck? Very low. The corn is still standing which makes me excited for next year but with fresh snow, what little tracks there are show coming in and going to the corn field. Only daylight sightings are of doe and fawns.

    4. Will you give In and take something smaller? If it tickles my fancy, now...yes I just might. I don't have to kill a buck, never did but if one presents itself, it will be hard to pass having never taken a Dec buck nor a buck in rifle with a bow. In PA this time of year, that's one hell of an accomplishment.

    5. If you answered yes to #4 how long before the season ends will you give In then? Tomorrow, depending. I still may not shoot a 1.5 though.

    1. What are you holding out for?

Mature buck ( 4.5 years old or older )

    2. How much time do you have left?

    23 days

    3. What do you think your chances are of still scoring on the buck you want?

good but will find out by the end of the year.

    4. Will you give In and take something smaller?

I don't think so although a few of our 3.5 year old bucks do temp you. If they made it this long... they earned another year. I ain't making any promises though !! LOL

    5. If you answered yes to #4 how long before the season ends will you give In then?

I will take a doe the last day to fill the freezer otherwise I will be hunting for a mature buck to about the very end. My archery tag is good for either sex. That takes the pressure off shooting a younger buck just to fill the tag. Britney loves our homemade deer jerky so I will be doing my best to fill my last tag!!! Got to keep her happy !! :)

    1. What are you holding out for? Mature buck...however tactics might change as I just about drove into my archery target from two years ago. Only hold up, he needs to cross a certain line to be "fair game" ( outside the no hunting zone )

    2. How much time do you have left? 3 days LOL

    3. What do you think your chances are of still scoring on the buck you want? 1%

    2. January 15th
    3. I think they are better than they were during the rut, now that the corn on neighboring farms is out, my farm is gonna be PRIMETIME with over 200 acres of standing beans and corn food plots left made directly for deer hunting.
    4. Absolutely not. My standards will not change.
