I thought I'd try to keep those of you who are interested in a wireless camera updated on my Stealth Cam GXW wireless. After about a month the batteries are still showing full. Probably three or four hundred pics sent. Another cool feature I figured out when it was out of the woods for a few days was it sent me notices that the camera was lost. These pics are nothing special, just from my backyard. The last one is my sweet grandaughter. Blessings............Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
As in, it recognized that it was moved from its original location. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I think because it updates every 24hrs and it wasn't turned on, it was letting me know the camera couldn't be found. Blessings..........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
How long did it take for your GXW to start uploading pics? Turned mine on last night and set upload time to 5 am and didn't get any pics, from my living room where it was set up... Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
It started uploading immediately. You can set the upload frequency and times in the settings. I set mine for immediate. I have heard some others say that if you set it to upload only once or twice a day it's easier on the batteries, but I haven't tried that. Yeah I changed it in my phone cause I'm at work, but it said it won't change until it's next scheduled upload time (5am) when I get home after work I will change it onnth e camera to immediately and test it. This was a refurb so I'm wondering if it's not operating normally. Since stealth cam has a kick ass customer service department, maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing!? I must say that I have been very pleased with it in the month or so that I've had it. I definitely don't regret the purchase. Yesterday my surprised me with another wireless cam, a Spypoint Link S. I've only had it out one night but I'm thinking I'm probably going like it better than the Stealth Cam. The cellular setup with it was beyond easy and it seems to have a better sensor. I also like the app that operates it. I'll post more about it once I get it into the woods. Blessings. ........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
