It's been gun season here since Saturday and yes, I'm gun hunting. I haven't seen too much but today I kicked up one of the big guys while still hunting to my cameras. He was too fast for me!

I'm pretty sure that I'm the reason the deer are mostly nocturnal. That, along with that there is hardly no gun hunting pressure. :)

I posted before about sacrificing a season while purchasing my land but the most important thing for me was to see what kind of bucks were roaming around. So, I set out 4 cameras and baited them with corn (legal here). I'm pretty sure that is a big part of them being nocturnal.

However, I got my mony's worth in pics so far, 300 in 16 days.

Here's some of the bigger ones, a couple of them have been posted before.

This may be a Rob Buck??

There are more big ones than thought there would be. Cool.

Good stuff Greg! That "Rob Buck" looks to be the same buck as the narrow one in the daytime picture. Good luck and enjoy the new property!

Not sure if it is. The big 7 point in the daytime pic has a g-3 that is usually visable. Even if he broke it off, the remaining "fork" looks like it would be much wider than the "Rob Buck".

Looks good Greg. You should have a lot of options once you've got everything down.
