Keep in mind, this is with a cell phone ...

This Pic is from the scrub Island stand ....4-5 acres of junk in the middle of a 3/4 mile long field of alfalfa and cut corn.... they bed in here ..... across you see Pines ... there is a ravine there with a creek at the bottom .. it goes back up to an uncut corn field ...

You can see how big that scrub island is on the right of this awesomely cool pic :)

Here is a Pic to the left of the property I hunt ... it was just so beautiful

Looks like a nice place to hunt. I really wish I had field edges to hunt, that is my only wishlist item on the private land I hunt.

I don't want to hijack your thread, but here is the closest thing I have to a field. Taken tonight with the phone so it's a little shakey. This was during the 25 minute lull in the neighbors shooting spree.

Great pics and beautiful country. How do the deer interact with the wind turbines when they are churning?

Great pics from a phone Tony, what are you using? My closest thing to a field edge is someones backyard with a few apple trees and fewer deer it seems. Do those turbines lower your energy cost any?
With property like that you should be joining NYBH in the success column very shortly. I haven't seen a scrape much less a buck this year. Of yea, I did see one buck picking from the same apple tree I did a few hours earlier. Pretty decent 6 with a rack outside his ears. I could only watch from my stand 60 yards away.

Thanks guys ... this place has produced lots of memories over the last 5 years .... and we have taken quite a few deer out ... that island produced both my deer last year ...

They don't even act like they are there ... as a matter of fact, like deer seem to do, they use them as a reference point or gathering point .. they messed up my bowhunting a few years back as they were working on putting them up ... I still took a buck during shotgun that year from just below the one at the creek bottom ..

its just a Samsung Rogue... I think ... it has a 3.0 mega pixel camera .... the smart phones are even better

well .. it's not place, but they get like $100,000 or something like that AND yearly rental fees ...as far as I know.. it's quite lucrative to have those put on your land ...

NYB is a stud ... I am just not that good :busted:
