Pulled the card on the Trophy Rock cam this morning while out squirrel hunting and setting a new stand location. Squirrels weren't moving much, but we got the stand set, and swapped cards on this camera. It looks as if we will have some options this fall. I would sure like to get some daytime shots of these boys, but it's thick and dark in our timber, so I gotta take what it gives me. Just wanted to share a few bucks. Have a good Sunday!
The tall-tined buck in the first picture is probably going to make my list. I know there is a nice, big bodied 10 running around our place. So, he would be nice, of course. After taking nice 9's the last 2 years, I would really like to have a nice, symmetrical, 8 pointer for the wall. I've got a soft spot for a good looking, typical 8. Aside from that..............any archery deer is a trophy, IMO.
Pulled a card this morning, and I was pleased to see I have a couple of good daytime shots of 2 of the bigger bucks we have. I just wanted to post them up and share the big boys. Sure looking forward to October 1st!
