Here are some trailcam pics from this month. My mineral sites are getting absolutely BLASTED, so most of my camera cards were filled up within 2 weeks of me putting the cameras out. I had to back off the picture series settings this time around, because I'm just too cheap to buy bigger cards. And the star of the show was this big mamma jamma. He's the buck I hit last year in PA. He's healthy, but it looks like his injury caused his left antler to sprout a double brow tine. This old fella and I are on a first-name basis. His twisty left browtine is back, but it's definitely bigger than last year. These pics were just taken last night. UNBELIEVABLE GROWTH, compared to anything else I've seen. Note: He was a fairly late shedder - held his antlers until sometime around 2/1/11. I reset the date on the cam, so the next pics should have the right date on it. It seems like it keeps resetting. Here he is last year, standing in the same place: As a point of reference, his left side last year went 66". I will be making an all-out effort to arrow this deer again this season.
That is a brute there! I would of shot him last year and now with two brows. That would be target number one for me.
That buck is a slammer for sure, biggest I've seen this year. Good luck with him. Blessings......Pastorjim
Thats gotta make your heart race a little bit knowing you got some studs to chase come opener! Great pics man
Wow ! Great pics quik Good luck with BMJ I hope to see pics of you hanging on to his antlers this fall !
Some great looking deer, but that last one is just crazy. That is the most growth I have ever seen at this time of the year. I am really hoping to read a long story of history when you kill this deer. Best of luck!!
Beautiful collection Fran. Your scouting has sure paid off, big time. Good luck on that PA buck this fall. He is a super-stud.
I can't believe how much growth that last one has already. Unbelievable. Looks like you have a good selection this fall. How many camera's are you running currently?
