Ok, first, I have a reliable and very sensitive digital scale, but it weighs in Grams. How do I convert that to Grains?

Second, Whats the difference between Rage Turkey 2-blades and the standard 2-blades for deer?

Third, about how much use can I expect from a brand new set of NAP Quickfletch Twister vanes? I bought a 3-pack last week, and after the first 6 shots I had one of the sleeves start splitting between the vanes going forward and a second split at the front heading back right in line with the back split.

You can probably just the google the conversion chart for grams to grains, the 2 blade turkey have .25 inch bigger cutting diameter and i believe the blades are a little thinner but i'm not positive. I actually just bought new arrows so i dont use the quickfletches anymore, but i shot most of mine last year a couple hundred times before having any problems with them. The only issue i had was the whole wrap would slide back and forth just a little but they always shot consistent for me. Hope that helps a little bit.

    1 gram =
    15.4323584 grains

    No clue about the broadheads

With the quikfletch, I ALWAYS have problems with them, but I use a whisker biscuit. I ended up buying a fletching jig. I would use them again if I didn't have time to refletch my arrows. Great in a pinch, but my biscuit destroys them.

Caddis: I have a 2 prong full containment rest, and the spot it's splitting doesn't contact at all. And THANK YOU for that conversion!
Ckeith: would I be alright using them for whitetail?

Hmmm. it may not just be my whisker biscuit destroying them. I guess they arent very durable. I've also had problems with the vane section being forced forward apart from the wrap. I'm assuming they are meant for convenience not a life time.

r4ce, i was asking what the difference was. WHY won't they work for deer? I've seen plenty of mechanical heads for deer that are just as big, and I assume that the 2 blade Rage has for deer use the same metal for the blades in both (except the titanium ones), the weights are the same at 100 or 125 grains for both.

I personally wouldn't, like i said i'm positive but i dont think they're as thick. I dont think they would handle crushing through the bones. A turkey is no where near as hard to shoot through as a deer rib or shoulder. I would definitely buy the rages made for deer. I use the 2 blade rage extremes and they are AWESOME! The new hypodermics look like they're gonna a great head as well!

The blades are thinner, that I know for sure. I am also almost positive the angle is more extreme. I would go with the Hypos, they are sweet, I just haven't had the chance to shoot a deer with them yet. The extremes and chisels performed very well for me last year. Maybe go with the best of both worlds and get the chisel extremes

R4ce, thank you. I haven't been able to compare the blades side-by-side, so that's exactly what I was looking for. If I can scrounge up the money I'll be buying the hypodermics or the chisel extremes. I only have my Tritons right now, and I'm not a fan of how they're flying.

Has anyone tried the Toxic boradheads from Flying Arrow Archery? I've been considering ordering some of those too.
