Now say that three times fast.........

How hot does the water need to be? Hot tap water, slightly boiling, rolling boil, etc.

Will there be much of a difference (arrow flight, etc) between my 2" Blazer vanes and the 2" QuikSpin Speed Hunters?

I've got my BHC ones in ths past week and I'm getting ready to put them on:rock:

I just put bhc ones on my arrows..white on white and they look good! They say water should be boiling but the water I used cooled down for like 15 seconds before I dipped mine so it was still hot but not boiling. They turned out excellent and are super quick! You wont be disappointed!:tu:

The water needs to be boiling, or very close to it, in order to get them to shrink tightly to the arrow. Meaning boil the water and if you remove it from heat and it stops bubbling, you're okay. But don't try it when the water hasn't boiled yet. I tried and ended up having to boil the water in the end b/c they didn't shrink down all the way.

They should fly pretty close to your Blazers. If anything they may impact a little low as they do weigh more than an arrow without a wrap, but that's to be expected.

Once you go Quikfletch you never go back.

I have shot both, both have good groupings, maybe alittle tighter with the speedhunters.

I have to agree with the previous poster who said once you try these, you will never go back. You do have to be a bit cautious about the water temp. If it's too hot when you fletch, it will become brittle and come off after a few shots. This advice about the water temp. comes directly from a rep. from Quick-fletch.

    Blessings.....Pastorjim

I've been using them all summer, not aproblem. Went to a 3D shoot this weekend and it was the coldest I've shot them, it was in the upper 50's. I had two arrows that the vanes blew off. I shoot a Mathews Z7 set at 53#. I'm going back to just fletching.

Yep you need to come to a boil first. I went from the Blazers to the quick fletch rockin the BH.C logo this year and didnt change a thing. They are spot on with what my blazers shot.
