    Just have to make it through winter and you will have some nice bucks next year.

    No one has asked, but I hae to admit...
    It happens to be the buck I had in my grasp last year and couldn't pull it off @ 15 yards. This is similar to your story, of the big buck that an adjacent land owner shot before you. :sad: Fortunately a good friend of mine was the one that connected on him instead of a stranger...
    The buck is almost 150" - 196 pounds dressed. Had to others picked out, but never saw those two either...

    Wow!! Sounds similar. You've got some great bucks around you then and your doing something right If your seeing these. I think you and I have similar area's. This last year (2010) was not the norm for my area but usually I'll be lucky to see one buck a year that will push P&Y. They just don't get no age to them In my area. I found out this year how much fun and how much easier or better hunting mature bucks can be when you've got some numbers.
