A 2 1/2 yo with some potential from this afternoon's hunt....

    First sit in this spot this year. I am set up in the bottom of a shallow dry creek bottom. Of course all of creek bottoms are dry, lol.

    Still in bachelor groups here as our rut is still 3-4 weeks off. These two guys and a doe/fawn was all that came through this evening. I like the looks of the bigger deer, which I am calling a 2 1/2 yo. Hopefully, he survives gun season which starts on Saturday. and can survive until next year.

    Agree, lots of potential. He'll be really nice next year...and the year after that he'll be a toad.
