I have a friend that works in an ER that sees a lot of gunshot wounds and says he would rather get shot with a 9mm. It would depend on the bullet used. I have a couple 45s and several 9mm. Personally, my EDC is a 45 S&W Shield M2.0 out of the Performance Center because it's easy to conceal, great trigger, shoots well and is light on the belt. In a Real World SHTF or Zombie scenario I'll be packing one of my 9mm for the simple reason with 2 mags and a loaded pistol =27 extra rounds, plus ammo for it would be a lot easier to pick up these days for a 9mm.
