Iowa does in fact allow the feeding or baiting of animals for reasons other than hunting over. It has absolutely nothing to do with disease control here. Not hunting over bait is a very old law that was originally put in place because it was deemed to be unsportsmanlike and unfair chase. Sorry if that deflates your ego. Again, you are spouting off about something that you know absolutely nothing about. You accusing me of violating baiting laws is a very serious accusation. I don't consider that to be a little thing. I wanted to see what kind of nimrod was capable of such extreme ignorance and it didn't take me long to find out. It is illegal to hunt a farm that is baited. Period. You really need to stop. You are wrong again and got someone in the Des Moines office that is clueless. Call a CO and you will get the true scoop on what the enforceable law is. We are not allowed to hunt over a bait or to hunt game that are moving to or from a baited area. So again, since I was tagged out, I was completely legal. In fact, even if I still had a tag I could put up cameras over bait stations as long as I had no intention of hunting. The hole you dig is getting deeper than your bait pile. Just leave now.
