You don't "OWE" anyone **** man...but a man can accept and admit when they were wrong and it shouldn't be that hard. It really is as simple as that. The rest of the flack you've gotten (and probably gave) came from the snowballing of that one mess. If you ever meant one word of praise you ever gave for this forum and really wanted to try to make things right and be a serious part of this forum...you could probably still make it work. At this point though you're going to be on parole for a while and people aren't going to put up with much ego filled BS. This forum gets a lot of spillover from AT, some are people that hate AT and some are trolls from AT just messing with this forum. We're never sure about new members but they always reveal their intent after a while. Your record so far is not giving you much benefit of doubt. If you are just in a bad situation and weren't aware then that's a friendly attempt at a heads up, if you are a troll from AT trying to **** with this forum then it won't matter.

Call me naive but I hate to give up on someone out of hand so there it is. You can determine whether my effort to help you was a waste of time or not. Really doesn't matter to me that much.

Still wrong. But, you know that. Maybe you want to report the Drury's, Lakosky's, Lindsay's, and a few dozen other folks that make their living in Iowa hunting whitetails. I'm sure they have no idea that they are breaking the law that you seem to know so well. LOL.

That's good, because there is no infraction to report. Bye now.

The only thing the Iowa Hunting and Trapping Regulations book says about baiting is:

    PROHIBITED DEVICES & ACTIVITIES
You may not use dogs, domestic animals, bait, radios, handguns, rifles and crossbows (except as described below), automobiles, aircraft, electronic calls or any mechanical conveyance or device to hunt deer. Paraplegics and single- or double-leg amputees may hunt from any stationary motordriven conveyance. “Paraplegic” means an individual afflicted with paralysis of the lower half of the body with the involvement of both legs, usually due to disease or injury to the spinal cord.
“Bait” means grain, fruit, vegetables, nuts, hay, salt, mineral blocks, or any other natural food materials, commercial products containing natural food materials, or by-products of such materials transported to or placed in an area for the purpose of attracting wildlife. Bait does not include livestock feed placed during normal agricultural activities.

Otherwise it's basically up to the DNR Officer's judgement on whether you were using that bait pile to aid in the harvest of a deer.

There was additional clarification in the Joe Franz case and he got his deer back. There is considerable verbage available, but there is certainly nothing about not baiting during any season, period. You simply cant let the bait aid in your hunt in any way. I have normally waited until all seasons are closed, or I was done hunting to eliminate the gray areas, but it certainly is not a necessity. I was just always ultra cautious about anything like that. But, our resident expert from out of state has apparently gained considerable knowledge in the area that none of us locals are privy to. lol

You know what? This young "man" has some issues that he should look at seriously! What he's pulling here just isn't normal by any stretch of the imagination. He has deleted posts, or parts of them to suit his needs, whatever they are. I noticed he deleted his early post about somebody getting him some "meds", after Sota asked him where he's been for the last 3 years. I guess he thinks people forget things? I haven't seen his equal since I've been around here. This was amusing in the early stages, but he has gotten carried away with his back and forth non-sense with several members, especially fletch. He needs to make things right or go back to AT, if they'll have him!

Look at the bright side Fletch will have more time to be a master baiter now that his ankles aren't being nipped at anymore.

Why didn't someone tell me this was going on? I missed out on the fun.

I was hoping for a new sack rider.
