:bash: Well our Texas weather sometimes really sucks. I know its still a few days out but the long term forcast for this coming Saturday has temps in the upper 80s. That stinks. mornings won't be bad, lower to middle 60s but afternoons will be a bit too warm for my liking. It is hard to stay scent free when your sweating buckets. Also there is the issue of speedy recovery to prevent meat spoilage. Oh heck. I betcha I'm still going!

I feel your pain. It looks their calling for mid to high 80s for our opener. I was yote hunting in similar weather a couple weeks ago and I was sweating pretty good after my walk to the stand in the morning.

Last week was our WI opener and it wasn't to bad. 60's during the day and 40's at night for most of the week. This week is a different story, I will not be hunting because of it being to hot, to me its no fun looking for a deer in this heat when you only have a matter of hours to find it! I'll wait until it goes into the 40's at night!

BHF, if we waited till we got 40's at night to hunt in Texas, our season would almost be over...that's the curse of hunting the south, it can make a person be a little more selective with their shot's at times too....
