If it weren’t illegal I could have gotten about 30 or 40 under our bird feeders today, probably on about 4 or 5 shots with the short barrel 12 gauge.
Been raining all morning here and I really needed to mow before leaving tomorrow for a week. Not sure that will happen. I guess I'll take advantage of the cooler temps to go prep one last stand site over a water hole. Anybody else have last minute prep going this weekend? I’ll be in the woods tomorrow moving my cell cam and trying to find a spot for a stand. I’m so focused on finding where my number 1 is bedding… Had him on camera consistently earlier in July and now just twice in August. Probably won’t matter once he sheds, but it’s still fun trying to track a mature animal down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ve been very sick last two days. Puts me more behind on my last minute to do list. Haven’t had COVID yet wondering if I have it Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

27?! Jesus haha. How often they make you do it in the military? Every week? I had covid real early when it first started. Thankfully my symptoms were very minor. Felt off one night the next day had a slight headache and minor aches. Next day I couldn’t smell or taste. Lasted 2 weeks and it’s been fine since. Pray you guys don’t get it and if you do your symptoms were as minor as mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So we got them with some of our trips but I had malaria laying dormant for 8 months from a previous deployment. It got real bad, 108 degree fever, vomiting blood, etc. they were convinced it was covid or wanted it to be covid for the money I don’t know but I was hospitalized on and off for 2 months while they tried to figure it out. During that I got tested 15 times so that accounted for most of them. It took forever to figure out it was malaria because it was dormant for so long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dang Wedes...I never knew Malaria could lay dormant and that does not sound fun at all. Well team, I'm about to hit the road for NC. I'll only be there for 1 week, so no hunting on the agenda. I'll be back for our opener tho and might try to get a doe that evening over a water hole. At least that is my plan. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Hard to tell. I think it might be but the fact that it’s so hard to tell probably means it’s not huge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like a decent buck and then again it doesn't. Pic is kind of deceiving. Either way at least you have a buck on cam. I'll have to wait to see what's on camera at my buddy's farm, since no cell cams there. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
