And I'm loving it!!! This has been our first real sub-zero morning. It's so nice to look out at the lake and see it completely froze. Plus all the fresh snow on the trees is beautiful.

I'm bummed that I'm tagged out and will not be hunting this December, but I'm pumped for strapping on the snow shoes and doing some winter tracking and scouting. Plus my dad and one of my buddies might hunt yet and give me an opportunity to video and freeze my arse off:D Bring on winter!

    Wuss! :D

Some, but I'll definitely do more this year. "Research" for our guests;) I have the crappie's number, but I'd like to find out where the big pike are hanging out.

I absolutely love that weather and am extremely jealous. I hope to see some snow and sub zero temps here soon to get the big boys moving into the food sources during daylight.

Honestly, I hate bowhunting In cold temps below zero!! It's a ***** pulling back a 62lb recurve with a pile of clothes on but the end result after getting a deer Is that much more satisfying knowing not many will go the route I did.

And that's why they live in Ohio, Fitz. The colder the better, I say. I particularly enjoy the feeling of when I inhale and the hairs in my nose stick together. The sound of the dry snow crunch beneath my feet. The crystals that can fall from a clear sky. Scooping the newly formed ice out of my fishing hole every 5 minutes. Breaking the frozen snot off my mustache. That's Life!
